now that's we've gotten than off our chests, lemme share a bit more of what my friend said w/r/t that line:
"maybe it's the poignancy of the line, maybe it's my lack of sleep, or maybe i've turned into a sap. but i suspect i snap to attention because the line holds the promise of time shaping us into better persons, so that someday we'll be the perfect wheels to our perfect cogs."one more time: aaaawww...

a blog is too public* but screw it, i'll say it anyway:
one late night last month (?) on the phone with the polymath, i was blubbering 6 years' worth of mea culpas at him. to (very nicely) get me to shut up, he said something a lot like your OC line. except i can't remember his exact words, as i was probably drunk at the time.
* was gushing about the boyfriend just last night at the boyfriend (how dumb is that?) when he very nicely asked me to try not gushing about him in public. too late, hahaha.
do you like cheese? goat cheese? cottage cheese? mozarella cheese? parmesan cheese?
